Not particularly surprising but still a pleasant reminder that Chinese people have a high moral standard. Much higher than in the West, where we are bombarded with Zionist propaganda when war crimes are being committed against a trapped civilian population (50% of whom are children).
The comment section got triggered since all the pearl clutching patsies are up in arms on that article, which is ironic since it's mostly a propaganda designed to propagate that Chinese people would have supported Israel if it wasn't for those dastardly See See Pee. Not to mention calling Chinese people as living in the bubble? Lol...

Well, it isn’t as if Hamas or Hezbollah could physically threaten a carrier battle group. It is a safe and, to most civilian, impressive way to show support.
Is it? What if Hamas start using unmanned boats laden with explosives like Ukraine is doing in the Black Sea? Or use cruise missiles? The Houtis and Hezbollah have them.

Hope not... the US would go full yolo. That conflict is sad enough like it is. But parking all these carrier fleet there is just asking for that.
Nah, that would be pretty funny actually. An enraged US would have to extract revenge. You know what happens to US' national comprehensive power every time it goes to a military adventure to take revenge, right?..

Fifth day of the war, October 11th, status update and major events:

– Israeli death toll surpasses 1200.

– The IDF is still engaged in clashes with Hamas around the Gaza strip, most notably in the settlements of Sufa, Zikkim and Ashkelon, where they sucessfully perform rotations, but the Hamas presence outside of Gaza is decreasing day by day.

– Relentless bombing campaign of Gaza continues, as the civilian death toll rises substantially.

– The flow of electricity to homes in Gaza has fully stopped, leading to a complete power outage, as the only working power plant has run out of fuel.

– Rocket barrages towards Ashkelon and Ben Gurion Airport, as well as the use of a long range missile launched towards Haifa.

– Hezbollah carried out an ATGM strike on a group of Israeli soldiers across the Lebanese border, killing at least two IDF soldiers.

– Major confusion and hysteria erupted amongst Israeli media after the Israeli early warning system erroneously issued hundreds of red alerts across northern Israel, giving the false impression of a Hezbollah attack and forcing approximately a million Israelis into bomb shelters.
