Didn't Iran launched one or two mil sats a few years ago? I wonder if they have good enough resolution. But then we're in an age every civilians can buy satellite photos from private provider, I hope we see some photos soon
I think Israel is partly excluded from such services?

Let's remember everything in space has always been and will likely always be military infrastructure.

I think Iran managing to strike military targets without causing any civilian damage is a good look for Iran and bad look for Israel
Israel looks bad for killing civilians including women and children. That is independent of what Iran does. If Iran wants to look good, it needs to kill a ton of Israeli military/Mossad members. It if kills civilians, it looks immoral. If it kills nobody, it looks incompetent.

I didn't know Israel is excluded from such service. Does the restriction extends to private providers based in China and maybe Russia?

Well, for US companies, not sure how availability of Chinese or Russian images are.

It's a bit of a two-faced article, where on once hand it says how Israel is treated more normally now.
On the other there are blanket statements such as:
"To reduce the potential for misuse and abuse, we decided to apply additional review for SkySat imagery over the conflict region."
Which implies complete aligment with US government policies.

A lot of impacts on the ground this time around. Nevatim airbase was particularly badly hit with what looked like around 20 impacts, with at least one secondary explosion. Hopefully Israel managed to get all the F-35s airborne.

According to the Pentagon, USN destroyers launched dozens of interceptors against Iranian ballistic missiles.

Yes, it was good to see the Hezbollah expeditionary force operating effectively in Syria. That and the 2006 war against Israel were Hezbollah's finest hours.
Why did they intervene only in Syria to help their dictatorship stay in power there?
Why not in the revolutions that swept Yemen, Tunisia? Bahrain, Egypt, Libya etc etc? You should know the answer why. Lol

It looks like most shots are landing, either it was a much larger salvo than the last time or Israeli missile defense is slacking for some reason. Lets see what are the targets, I wonder if it is limited to military targets
BMD is largely ineffective against modern ballistic missiles. You can see in these videos that there's hardly any BMD even fired off by Israel. Just check the speed alone of the incoming BM and compare with previous videos of what Israel uses against Hezbollah/Palestine rockets.

The thing is even a hypersonic ballistic missile will take several minutes to fly from Iran to Israel. So they can just take their aircraft airborne and wait until the strike passes before they land.
That seems impractical. They don't know exactly where the missiles are headed. Which base would you empty out, which installation, which area cleared?

Apparently Iran gave another courtesy warning before the attack ...

Tehran had informed Russia ahead of missile attacks on Israel, senior Iranian official tells Reuters

U.S. was alerted by Iran through diplomatic channels 'shortly before the attacks', the official said.

Source: Reuters live feed
Why do they warn of the attacks before hand? Do they do that to prevent a response from the US?
There are international civilian jetliners moving through the region. A courtesy warning helps them to clear out. Iran would not want a missile striking, for example, a Greek or German aircraft carrying civilian passengers. Although, this is on the foreign operators to continue operating in what is obviously a warzone; Iran is actually being courteous to them in this regard. Maybe these foreign operators want Iran to hit their jets so they can build a casus belli for war.

Wonder if Iran hit any of those armour parking lots Israel assembled on the Lebanon boarder. That, and airbases would be some of the most obvious and juicy targets.
The attacks is reportedly on southern and central Israel.

Yes. We know the answer. Syria borders Lebanon. Bahrain, Yemen, Egypt, Libya do not border Lebanon.
