Assassination Attempt failed. All they did was kill civilians.

It’s been confirmed that he was assassinated. No doubt in my mind Hezbollah will retaliate probably in conjunction with Yemen. This is not going to deter Hezbollah. Their operations will continue and likely lead to a harsh response from
the Axis of Resistance. Israel is clearly brain dead.

Looks like somebody else is doing the fighting for Israel.

Looks like the west is going way too far. Boggles my mind why the Islamic world doesn't get revenge on the west.

Israel just assassinated Hamas's chief Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran
WTF? Are we speedrunning WWIII?

Considering the fact that Israel still hasn't got Sinwar who is in the Gaza strip(afaik), this just outlines how poor Iran's intelligence, OPSEC and counter-intelligence efforts are, because Hamas people seem to be at least competent at that front. I do not understand if its a lack of adequate deterrence or Iran's "harsh words" posture that allows assassinations with impunity. I would've thought after Iran's decent show of force this year would've made the Israelis think twice but maybe not.

This tells me Netanyahu got reassurances during his trip to Washington to escalate.

Everyone is afraid of WWIII, just as everyone was afraid of WWII to start. For the very same reason, Israel is not afraid of WWIII because they know everyone else is too scared to start it. So they will keep up the ante because they know they will get away with it. In a fashion not so different from Hitler's Germany. The major powers around were afraid of the war, so they were very lenient on Germany's aggression. However, that very same restraint is the cause of the WWII to start, so they played themselves. What a tragedy.

Israel will keep getting away with it, until it cannot, by then a massive war will start. It is the same repeat as Germany before WWII.

"Islamic world" was, is, will always be a joke. Everyone looks after theirselves. But whereas other countries just say that they act in self-interest, the Islamic public is deluded enough that they actually believe they belong to a singular group which looks after their collective interests lol

No, this historical juncture we are living through right now, is far more resembling of WW1 than WW2.
