Oh, but they are. The comparissons with nazis is overdone, but in one regard it isn't, its in the stupid and ill adviced decisions they are making fueled by hubris, hatred and the just plain dumb people that shouldn't be anywhere near power.

If they can get away with bombing British hotels and American ships, then why not Egypt?
Last time they went against Egypt, they were standing on the Suez Canal after taking all of Sinai, for the second time, in less than a week and occupying it for the next 15 years, giving it up only as a permanent demilitarized buffer zone on the condition that Egypt reopen the [closed] Suez canal.
Today, Egypt is in a worse position. All of it's weapons are sourced from Israel's closest allies and of the inferior type.
Anyways, I was just pointing out what the Jewish religious books have defined as Israel - Nile to Euphrates - and there are a whole lot of nutters in Israel who take it to heart and even bigger multitude of nutters in America (Evangelicals) of the same opinion.
With their terrible performance in Gaza, Israel is in no position to take on Egypt. This is not 1973 were Uncle Sams support will translate to total victory on the battlefield. Israel won't survive a war with Egypt.
The important thing to understand is that the first of Israel's wars were conducted back when much of their military was ex-USSR ww2 veterans, fighting Arab armies that had no clue at how to conduct a peer conflict.
Today, Israel fields a conscript army that has little experience in war, only better than the Egyptian army in the sense that it is more well funded and therefore has more imported toys. In contrast, Hezbollah and Palestine have actually been at a state of high alert under a long, and more importantly, they are all career soldiers (especially Hezbollah, which recruits from Iranian tied candidates) that undergo constant training.
