US is struggling with them that much mostly because of houthi's unofficial allies that US can't directly attack, not houthis themselves.
They have a better opportunity the more Hamas + Houthis stall Israel militarily and economically. Plus if they can bait Israel into an ill advised first attack through poor terrain, Hezbollah can hit an even more weakened Israel.
