Unfortunately no one takes US promises seriously anymore, They thought they were being smart by double crossing their former partners, As they say reputation is worth its weight in gold, Even now US probably intend to backstab Houthi if they're dumb enough to take this bait, They key word being "May", US is used to having its cake and eating other's, Can't be helped.

Exactly; the Houthis would be fools to interpret this as anything other than US weakness/desperation. The sign is clear that the correct move for them is to double down their efforts.

The attack at Isfahan was a drone strike. Either way, USAF flies tankers over Iraq next to Iran's border every day. No need to carry additional fuel tanks.

Israel Has Extended The Range Of Its F-35s: Report
Reports in the Israeli media suggest that IAF F-35s have been enhanced to hit Iranian targets unrefueled and carry at least one new weapon.

Recent reports in the Israeli media claim that the country has developed a means of extending the range of its F-35I Adir stealth jets, allegedly providing them with enough reach to hit targets in Iran without needing aerial refueling. The development has been announced together with the integration of a new, locally developed smart bomb for internal carriage in the F-35. These apparent upgrades to the Israeli Air Force’s long-range strike capabilities come as the Israeli leadership announces a harder line against Tehran’s nuclear program, while the air force conducts exercises widely thought to be dress rehearsals for potential raids against Iran.

Unsubstantiated rumour.

If Iran is to retaliate directly on Israel with missiles then they'd presumably want to co-ordinate with rocket strikes from Hezbollah and maybe Houthis. If Israeli defences are busy dealing with thousands of Hez rockets then easier for Iranian missiles/drones to get through I'd think.

Edit: Seems UAE is cutting ties with Israel. Clearly doesn't want to be on the receiving end of any Iranian response.

So Israel invented new physics?.

Edit: The article does mention droptanks which is kinda the point of them in the first place and not some technological breakthrough as the article title seems to imply.
When Israel first received the F-35, it was given a special permission to modify it which caused a lot of controversy among other international partners in the project who were rejected the same permission. It mostly had to do with the avionics but also of Israel developing CFT for the F-35A. I did not follow the the later developments. Maybe that is what the article @Sinnavuuty is pointing at.
