A photo appearing to show digital billboards in New York with the words, “Ceasefires Are Anti-Semitic” has gone viral on X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter. But it’s been photoshopped. The billboard clearly reads “Be Human. Stand For Israel,” in the untouched photo.

X has been flooded with political messages about the Israel-Hamas war ever since Hamas launched a coordinated attack on Israel on October 7 that killed 1,400 people. Israel responded with airstrikes that have so far killed over 5,000 people, according to the

It’s unclear who first made the photoshopped version of the billboard but the original photo, where you can clearly see it reads “Be Human. Stand For Israel,” dates to at least October 19, when the Facebook account

Frankly I don’t see how “Be human, stand with Israel” is much better. People who don’t are subhuman now or something?

Maybe the one from this report is fake.
I didnt see any of the pro-Palestininan Facebook accounts accuse the account, "Israel in New York", of photoshopping the photo. As a matter of fact, the photo with the "Ceasefires are anti-semitic" text appeared AFTER the original one.
The fake one was posted on October 24th:

While the real one was posted on October 19th. You can check the picture in my previous post for the date.

Nonetheless, the burden of proof is on you and I'm open to anything that can be backed up by solid proof.

A news story about how disappointingly disorganized Israel's military organization in Gaza is.

The Israeli prosecutor's office announced the indictment of a man named Roy Yafarah, who entered the Gaza frontline on October 7 under a false identity, claiming to be a member of YAMAM (the National Counter-Terrorism Unit) and "Shin Bet" (the security service), and stole a large amount of weaponry and military materiel, which was not discovered until December 17th.

It is now confirmed that this individual stole a large quantity of weapons, ammunition and military and police equipment over a period of two months and transported some of them in a vehicle to various locations. At the time of Roy's arrest, police found in his possession an M4 assault rifle, 14 stun grenades, two smoke grenades, an M203 grenade launcher, a box of 5.56mm ammunition, a box of 9mm pistol ammunition, an IDF tablet, as well as drones, bullet-proof undershirts, tactical belts, ceramic inserts and helmets.

What is even more shocking is that during the inspection of the Gaza front by Israeli Prime Minister Bibi and Defense Minister Galant, instead of hiding, he took the initiative to pose for a photo with them both ......

Sources from Israel claim the following units:
- 460th Brigade (Armor Training Unit)
- 261st Brigade (Officers' Academy)
- 828th Brigade (Military and Civilian Military Academy)
- 551st Brigade (Reserve)
- 14th Brigade (Reserve)
will be withdrawn from Gaza, and the disbanding of the reserve forces is intended to return the workforce to economic activity as much as possible.

However, Reuters claims that the above units will be rotated with units in northern Israel. (Jumping from Gaza hell into Hezbollah hell I wonder what the IDF Defense Ministry was thinking)

Israel's only hope is to find a peaceful resolution or kill all the 2 million people one by one. There is no other way, either kill/expel all 2 million people or accept the 2-state solutions, stop being genocidal.

Honestly, I think Israeli leadership has actually no idea what they are doing right now. In fact, maybe it is just some kind of typical Western-like hubris, or some kind of emotional, hate-driven response. But you can't convince me that they have any strategy or vision. Yeah, some anti-Muslim extremists around the world will keep tweeting and celebrating the genocide, but for the long term, Israel is in a worse situation than it was ever before in terms of security, economy, and international standing (Iran doesn't need to do anything, it's just sitting, rubbing its hands).
It seems fairly clear to me that the strategy is standard ethnic cleansing and genocide.

Per Tooze, Zionism is best understood as a settler-colonial project:

It seems as though their strategy follows a similar rationale to the strategies of past settler-colonial states: confine the natives to a specific area. Drive them out of the prosperous areas. Whittle them down over time.

for Israel, its hope is to come out of this with the Palestinians holding less land, in less hospitable conditions, with fewer of them around.

It doesn’t matter if more Palestinians are ‘radicalised’ and support Hamas or some other resistance group. If anything, it makes the task easier, promising future provocations and opportunities to further kill.

The Palestinian path to victory (one state or two) would seem to hinge on making the Zionist project too costly to maintain. With the USA backing it and Iran (for the most part) staying out, the costs seem bearable. Dead soldiers, for a cause, are fine, to a point. Rerouted ships are likely temporary. Even a recession isn’t the end of the world.

I’d expect the Israeli goal to be to depopulate a chunk of Gaza, and immiserate the remainder.

Gaza can fight like this indefinitely. Israel economy cannot sustain like this forever. Not unless they plan to live like Gaza. At that point they may as well immigrate.

Give it another couple month and the sign on economy will show. Negotiation will start unless US escalate their backing.
