If true, this is the strategic position that secures the SAA hold on the Handarat Camp.
Big news if this is the case and it moves the campaign to the terrorist heartlands of the north parts of the city.

The four Caesar in Qayyarah have already given voice

Like what we must not despair ... EMA confirmed at the press conference this Thursday morning that the four French 155mm pieces that make up the Task Force Wagram with 150 soldiers, are stationed on the basis of Qayyarah, south of Mosul.

These pieces have made shots on 20, 27 and 29 September.

It is this base which also hosts the US artillery: the HIMARS systems (photo below DoD) and M777 155mm howitzers of the 2nd Brigade Combat Team of the 101st Airborne Division. Another unit of the 101st is present; it comes Golf Company, the 526th Brigade Support Battalion.
