Telegram channel MES has spotted an Su-35 aircraft in one of iran's airbases for the first time.

Full quote:

"First confirmed visuals of Su-35 in Iran.

The satellite image shows an approximately 22-meter long fighter jet at one of Iran's airbases; this size corresponds to the Russian Su-35 and no other plane in Iran's Air Force.

Not posting due to national security."

Better to hide them in underground bunker... Iran are quite good at tunneling, they need to hide any military assets they possess.

One of problems with flankers - resistant arcs of this size are already towards capital construction.
Especially in Iranian conditions, where normal protected shelters won't work - Israel will just bomb entire shell game, they need to do thoroughly.

Rather predictably Israel is pushing for a second round of conflict with Iran, this time to strike once again it's rebuilt missile production.

Unless the Americans commit significant support I have my doubts that this operation will do as well as the first in June 2025, much less permanently succeed in its goals.

Israel has lost the element of suprise, Iran will have learnt alot in the last round and move things around to perform better. Another round favours Iran more than it does Israel.

Excellent photo taken during the BRICS "Will for Peace 2026" exercise in South Africa: the IRGC Naval Base Shahid Mahdavi (110-3) + the IRGC Expeditionary Naval Base Makran (441) and, although very small compared to the other two naval units, the IRGC corvette Naghdi (82).

Just a quick correction, the Makran & Naghdi are operated by the IRIN, not the IRGC. Cheers.
