Another merchant vessel is altered to serve as a mothership, or support ship.

The ship is smaller than the Makran 441, but it has the same helipad arrangement. The distinction is that this hole (red circle) may be utilized to make an elevator, which will enable any drones or helicopters to be brought to the hangar that is located underneath.

While the IRGC Navy was holding the delivery ceremony of their Bagheri drone carrier, for the Iranian Navy I.R.I.N. in the shipyard north of Bandar Abbas they are completing the work of transforming one of the two oil tankers already indicated in the post quoted above into a logistical support ship
The modifications partly follow those made with the previous Makran 441, however this "new" unit has smaller dimensions and displacement. At first glance from the photos from above in the recent past it seems that it has been equipped with a lift for the shelter of any helicopters or drones, while from information not yet confirmed they will have enhanced defensive and offensive armament.
The ship nearing completion has been named IRIN Kordestan 442

It would be far fetched for them to buy a type 075 LHD ? Would be far better than these... maybe it would be to tempting for Israel to bomb it ?

with the price of a type O75 they probably built the current logistics ships + the future 2 derived from commercial ships which were acquired at a very low price or at no price.
If you really have to buy military ships in China, I would opt for the +3000 ton frigates

Clearly not the same role... and yeah probably cost more but will have three time the capabilities if not more.

Certainly, but even if it is not paid in US-$ or Euros, money or other things must always be given to a foreign country, money that can instead be used to purchase directly or to build under license, or technical design assistance to build frigates or destroyers that at the moment seem indispensable to effectively escort the Bagheri drone carrier and other logistic ships/advanced bases if Iran intends to use them on missions in distant seas, and to do this, larger armed ships of the Moudge class and with a larger displacement are certainly needed.

Cost more is a massive understatement.

Not just the ship itself, but the escorts, logistics ships for supporting it, advanced aircraft/helicopters.

Remember Thailand bankrupting it's military over that "aircraft carrier" they purchased? A 075 is at least 3x capability (and running cost) of that Thai carrier, these drone conversion ships don't even come close.

What capability?
It's 3 different ships.

Today I was looking again at the photos published on the web of the Bagheri drone carrier, and I lingered on this one showing the aft flight deck occupied by a helicopter, therefore taken before the ceremony in recent days.

but this photo also showed something else, and for comparison I put together this photo and a similar one from the day of the ceremony, and you can see 3 Qahed type drones shown in white that are large, i.e. even larger than those circled in green that were also present at the ceremony along with the small ones circled in red, so those circled in white should be very close in size to the prototype of the Q-313 piloted aircraft.

Anyway, I'm asking if you think this is a completely real photo or has someone done some retouching by adding these new large aircraft/drones.
But if the photo is completely real, it makes me wonder if these are drones, or if they are the evolution of the Q-313 and therefore with a pilot on board (who in any case due to size cannot use the lift to put him in the hangar below)
