When did PAP recruits allow glasses?
Also the blood type on removable patch doesn't make sense.
Corrective lenses are a need that won’t eliminate most form service except in aviation.
It’s a need as if you can’t see you cant perform your duties.

B-pos that’s basic blood typing. TX-07, TX-02, TX-12, TX-06 that is the interesting bit.
This could be a airsoft team or it could be real if the latter TX-## might be the PAP coping something the US does.
In the west during deployments the US started issuing patches with codes like that. It was because there were incidents where in Infantrymen’s families suddenly got nasty contacts claiming to have killed their sons. It was realized that the soldier’s name and unit ID had allowed by social media pro insurgent elements to identify the family of soldiers they had encountered. Then harass them. The DOD responded by issuing tapes that would replace name tapes on gear these tapes would have a Alpha beta code and number in place of name. The code would identify the gears owner but by unit and where their name was in sequence. So Allan would be a lower number than Zoidberg..

Interesting to a point but not really anything new. They focused so much on the Exotic pistol and revolver magnums that they missed the Rifle caliber rounds they should have shot into it.
The PASGT helmet from the late 70s early 80s was known to take most pistol caliber rounds already. Current ACH and the like sit in that class to this day easily defeating 9mm FMJ just as that helmet did. Even with a slip under the cover. The question has been rifle rounds. The PLA has claimed there’s stops 5.56, 5.45 and 7.62x39mm. Such a claim is not made for the standard PASGT, ACH class. In their case the makers offer a additional appliqué that will bring the helmet to that level.

The manufacturer actually claims to stop rifle rounds? Regular kevlar helmet is already so heavy, I can't imagine getting hit by full power rifle round with additional plating won't just snap your neck from moment force.

Could these be promo photos from some kind of manufacturer? Starting to see more and more defense advertising coming out of China in the last 5 or 6 years.

Assault rife rounds carry momentum but not that much. The Human neck isn’t a twig. It takes a lot of foot pounds to break it. The additional mass of the up armor doesn’t hurt either then you have the helmet pads these combined mean that the soldier might get a concussion but but not likely a broken neck

The pictures came from a gear manufacturer. The customers were from a PAP command college. Maybe the guys bought it privately because they liked it idk.

The new combat uniforms are being rolled out. Yes, these are photos of a group wedding at a barrack.

odd. I noticed this in the photos above but here again. The Combat uniform at a wedding a situation where dress is more appropriate and look around at the other bridegrooms all in service dress. Except front and center in combat fatigues... must be ready for the divorce battle. Also saluting the Bride? Guess we know who will be ranking officer of that house.

The new combat uniforms are seen more and more in the wild. Note the desert pattern.

Here again we have a situation where clearly dress is the order of the day and far left and very center we have dress uniforms. Still more questions here.
1) when or where was this photo taken? We have those in dress wearing navy Summer whites. Now Whites ( there have been army and Air force whites in some nations to) are normally a summer uniform or a tropical uniform that means you normally don’t see whites unless it’s between April and September or the average temperature in climate is over 70* year round. Now a quick check says that Beijing is in winter to cold for whites Hong Kong might fit for whites. So this is either a photo that was taken months ago or recently in a Hong Kong garrison.
2) combat uniform next to service and not one pattern of it but two. Woodland and Desert? Some military use Desert as a summer/tropical pattern but it seems off here not reason.
3) The jacketed camo set we saw months back or type 07 or the new jacket service uniform would make more sense in both situations. It like a mechanic saying, “hey I am going to get married in my set of crusty mechanics coveralls.” Or a plumber getting a civics award in his overalls and flannel.
only justification I can think of is these guys have not been issued dress uniforms. It’s possible some armies don’t bother at all some don’t below officers. These guys based on context seem like they would be Navy or PLAMC they should have a dress uniform. My understanding is that the PLA adopted a sailor suit similar to the Russian Navy for junior NCO’s.
