Don't the sunglasses get in the way if you put the goggles on? Not sure I see the point, seems kinda clunky if you have to take one off to put on the other...

You wouldn't wear both at the same time.

The glasses should be more for eye protection in general while the goggles for things that need a tighter seal.

Personally I feel like the circumstances where one needs goggles would be pretty rare, and in future their helmets should change to one where standard eyepro is just safety glasses, and the goggles removed for a helmet design with a proper sturdy mount for more robust NODs than the monocular digital night imaging sensor they have at present.
