due to constant disagreements between the French, Spanish and Germans!

Not sure if French aerospace executives and officials will find working with India's legendary bureaucracy any less frustrating, but it'll probably make for an entertaining business school case study on how not to pursue a JV.
The French are known to bribe foreign officials wrt arms procurement. They'll just bribe the corrupt indians to get things going

That's kind of the problem: Indian officials tend to expect bribes, and the French are all too happy to offer them.

Inevitably, such a dynamic cultivates a dysfunctional environment where the powers that be are more interested in collecting rents than achieving milestones.

Not sure if a Franco-Indian fighter JV will go as poorly as the Sukhoi/HAL FGFA shitshow, but history does tend to repeat itself!

If by some miracle it materialises, that's all they'll get: a stealth fighter and nothing else other than being locked in the French ecosystem for decades. No TOT/no experience building a stealth fighter since there's literally nothing india can offer other than money and their aviation industry is set back yet again.

The French will probably make them do less technical stuff to stroke their egos and make them feel they're doing something lol. Even then I'm still not sure. I mean they literally had to send their models to Russia to get it tested because they don't have a wind tunnel lmao

If such a Franco-Indian project somehow materializes, the Indians will want more ToT than what the French will be prepared to provide, as well as demand more work share than what the Indian aviation industry will be prepared to handle.

Considering history, specifically the Sukhoi/HAL FGFA fiasco and what that yielded, not feeling quite as optimistic as you.

However, let's first see if the Indians even join the FCAS program or some evolution of it to begin with!
