I think I have figured out what the problems are with the Kaveri.

- Too large (inlet) diameter (90+ cm on a medium thrust engine).
- Too short (like 50cm shorter then its foreign equivalents).
- Core too large (hence achieving higher dry thrust than required).
- Too heavy because of the large core.
- Too small bypass leading to a BPR of mere 0.16 (LMAO).
- Too little bypass means too little oxygen to burn in the afterburner, hence lower than required wet thrust.

All in all, the Kaveri is too short, too heavy and too thick to operate effectively. It seems to me the problem is less about metallurgy but more about wrong engineering choices.
Whatever engine India or Japan make on their own is gonna be much better than chinese one because Indians and Japanese have strict quality control and when it comes to Millitary hardware Indian army has always bought the best available hardware
IAF decied to buy Tejas only when it became the best fighter jet in it’s category check the specs of Tejas fighter jets watch the interviews of pilots from all over the world who flew it

There is a good reason why the Indian Air Force put the Tejas safely in the South guarding against an invasion from Sri Lanka (

in Coimbatore). Same reason the USN use LCS boats doing drug interdictions only. Neither are combat-ready.

Now, you're just being a comedian with that take. What's your proof that India has a stricter quality control over the Chinese? Stop talking nonsense.

Since he claims to be Nepalese maybe he just hates Indians so much that he’s trolling them here on purpose.
That may be true if we have never visited any Indian forums.
Indian level of delusion is out of this world.

You must take into account that the Indians invented the internet, as proclaimed by an Indian Minister, no less.
36% of scientists in NASA are Indians, announced by D Purandeshwari, minister of state for HRD, in the Rajya Sabha( India Parliament).
And ultra generous India gave the much coveted UNSC seat to China, Jai Hind !!!

Indian talents are not in Science and Technology, but elsewhere in Banking, Corporate Management( CEOs), Law, Medical, Politics and Spelling Bee.

With due respect, is that the reason why India still couldn't get its own Kaveri engine right, and is still massively overdependent on foreign-sourced engines for Tejas, TEDBF and AMCA?

Meanwhile, China already has thousands of Chinese engines powering hundreds of Chinese fighters across the skies today as fully operational and functional 3rd-generation low-bypass turbofan engines for 15 years now. Nobody in their right mind would use jet engines for a whole 15 years (and counting) without getting those engines working properly and as intended.

Plus, China's own 4th-generation low-bypass turbofan engines would be up and ready for mass deployment on new Chinese fighters within the next few years.

Furthermore, China has already achieved key technological breakthroughs in the development of her own:
#1 - Next generation (i.e. 5th-generation) low-bypass turbofan engine for use on fighters and bombers with thrust-to-weight ratio (TWR) of 12-15;
#2 - Next generation turboshaft engine for use on helicopters with power-to-weight ratio (PWR) of 11-12; AND
#3 - Turbine-based combined cycle engine/Turboramjet engine (TBCC).

Has India achieved anything of that sort?

and when it comes to Millitary hardware Indian army has always bought the best available hardware
Sure, whatever you say.

So where are the interviews of "pilots from all over the world who flew it"?

You're mistaking incompetence for quality control.

Beyond the five and soon to be six Scorpenes, India has two SSKs that are less than thirty years old today (INS Sindhurashtra c. 2000 and INS Shankul c. 1994). If P-75I follows typical project timelines with delivery post-2030, India's SSK inventory will soon be inferior to Pakistan's.

To further expand on this: Twenty years ago, India had fourteen modern SSKs (10 Pr. 877 Kilos and 4 Type 209s) while Pakistan had two (Agosta 90Bs). By 2030, India, with ten times the GDP that it had in 2002, will probably* be down to six modern SSKs (Scorpene) while Pakistan will have eight (Type 039B).

Stalin would've executed folks for less. Just saying.

* If India signs a deal for Scorpene+ tomorrow then perhaps India will receive additional SSKs before 2030, but we all know that is not going to happen.

Discarded. Pilots frpm India are not from around the world.

Discarded. Same reason as above.

Also discarded. Do you know that "flying Tejas" and "flying along with Tejas" are actually two entirely different things?

Discarded as well. Where are the interviews?

Okay, so? I don't see him claiming Tejas is best fighter jet in it’s category.
