Huh? Isn't that a picture of Vikrant? What do those have to do with the runways on Vikramaditya? Then see again clearly the elevators are located inside not outside.

The image @HaldilalSDF uploaded shows both carriers with their respective elevator locations... Vikramaditya on the left and Vikrant on the right... I think he means the Vikramaditya has an elevator pretty much in the middle of the flight deck... so one of the take off points is in the middle of flight deck due to that elevator’s position...Huh? You know before your reply I literally didn't see vikramaditya on the left of that photo, oops. But I still don't super understand what elevator position has to do with launch positions...The image @HaldilalSDF uploaded shows both carriers with their respective elevator locations... Tbh... I am not super sure either... I was only guessing what @HaldilalSDF was implying with the whole position thing...But I still don't super understand what elevator position has to do with launch positions...
The first elevator comes where the first take offs point starts. As INS Vikramaditya itdswas originally laid as a Heavy Aircraft Cruiser with different Role, Layout, and aircrafts. It's carried forward many traits. Even the Superstructure in pretty much inside the deck. If you extend the take off point then hardly any space would be left. Thats why the layout of the Virat is much better than the Vikramaditya. You know before your reply I literally didn't see vikramaditya on the left of that photo, oops. BrahMance you mean, surely?
Easy to blame the equipment. What if India adopts the F/A-18 Super Hornet, or Naval Dassault Rafale. But the crashes still keep happening at the same rate. What would they say after that?
