From what little actual evidence we have seen, it is pretty obvious that the Indian troops are showing close to zero discipline. In the video, their own officer could barely control them, and they were attacking that armour vehicle like a pack of foaming rioting thugs.

It looks like the PLA officer mistakenly thought he could reason with the Indians, who instead jumped him. That then led to the mass brawl when the PLA troops came to back him up and rescue him.

I think PLA command is aware of this massive discipline problem with the Indian army, which is probably why they are more willing to give the Indians the benefit of the doubt in these little meaningless clashes, chalking them down to ill discipline amongst the Indian ranks rather than deliberate probing/provocation from the Indian state. OTOH, any co-ordinated moves by the Indian government is robustly resisted, eg Doklam.

I think that is a good balanced policy to have. It ensures you don’t accidentally start wars because of some lowly Indian hothead; but at they same time warn the Indian government off from any stupid adventurism at an early stage, so it doesn’t require another 1962 level spanking to get them to course correct.

This theory could be true and it's basically misreporting from Indian media on matters that happened all over May or even before that. Sections and content completely taken out of context with no solid provable timeline of events and all of it designed to manipulate their consumers, the Indian public. It would explain why there's been Indian talks of Chinese and/or Indian intrusions and then tidbits of out of context visual materials being floated with no attempt to credibly demonstrate what happened exactly, why it happened, when it happened, and how it was allowed. Just dangling bits of virtual treats in a zoo environment. It's nice to see Chinese side being calm and collected about all this. If it truly is how you're theorising here, CCP has responded perfectly. Personally I think there is still a chance we've got some serious moves made by one or both parties or unknown purposes. Perhaps just some propaganda material for the side that needs to deal with elections and manipulating public opinion.

That ITBP not even military. It's a police force under command of HM not army. Rest of your post is gibberish.

An army marches on its stomach - Napoleon Bonaparte

Amassing some supposedly 70K military personnel along with (again) supposedly some hundreds of armored vehicles on a mountainous and rather narrow area isn't exactly the best idea. India lacks both the infrastructure and the equipment to provide sustainable logistics for a possible engagement. With a small but efficient force, PLA can easily disrupt the already stretched supply lines. After that, the attrition would do the job rather than actual fighting...
Yet they have deploy around 232 tank on ladakh alone along with artillery brigades and more than 70,000 troops. along with all the necessary infrastructure to sustain a long campaign. no attrition is happening over Tibet. This is one fight PLA aint winning without a bloody nose. no matter what cheerleaders like to think.

12,000 workers to be moved in special trains to complete vital infrastructure projects near China border amidst military standoff

The Ministry of Defence has asked for 11 special trains to transport around 12,000 workers from Jharkhand for road construction near the China border,

Hindustan Times. The workers would be first taken to Jammu and Chandigarh and then ferried to regions close to the border areas in Uttarakhand, Ladakh, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu and Kashmir.

The Government could not afford to lose time in the working season, which extends from May to November. They conceded that the standoff is uncertain and may continue for weeks. As such, pending road projects cannot be stalled for an indefinite period. Some work has already started on the strategic Darbuk-Shyok-Daulet Beg Oldie road in Ladakh.

If that the case, then it unbecoming of Indian. You don't attack envoy or negotiator even if it from an enemy force.

Yes. According to Chinese sources, the commanding officer from the Indian side was recently transferred from Kashmir and is a bit of a hot head. Nothing like this has happened before.

Overall Indian ultra nationalism is on the raise. There have been serious fights with Pakistan, removed special status of Kashmir and now these border clashes. India think they have an opportunity during the ongoing pandemic + current US admin with historic anti-China stance. I am afraid they are provoking China and trying to advance exactly like pre-war 1961-62 period. The move by India is a mistake and unnecessary. No good can come out of this. Alas, ultra nationalist cannot think logically.
