Saudi Arabia adds their budget of internal security into their overall defense budget that’s why it looks big
and in case of Russia since they buy locally and the Russian rubble is weak so the defense budget looks small in dollar terms

I take that as admission of understanding the fact plain economic number out of context does not give an in depth look into hard power capability. Then why was it mentioned earlier?

GDP of India is heavily underestimated

Like how? If anything we have enough reason to believe it is overestimated.

And instead of looking at gdp per capita or poverty rate you should simply look at average life expectancy , infant and maternal mortality rate to judge the quality of life of an average individual in a region or state

Fair enough. Let us look into the region and see what comes out of it

Syrians as well as North koreans have better life expectancy than India. In the region Bangladesh already has overtaken india. Same with infant mortality rate. So what conclusion should we draw from it except india is in worse shape than i thought it was 10 minutes ago.

And india has a huge manufacturing base definitely not as big as China or Russia but but there is no comparison with Pakistan or Afghanistan

Where is it? What percentage of military equipments are locally made in India? Especially the better equipment that was metioned earlier?

U are right. I have seen many white men married with Chinese or oriental looking women than indian or South Asian women. Even many Black people were seen to have Chinese wife and not indian wife in my country.

Ireland is ranked high because of foreign tourists visiting that small country
But my point was that GDP of both China and india is underestimated more in case of india because it’s not as organized as China

Maybe but Ireland is an exception air passenger traffic in Ireland is not because of domestic passengers

Air passenger traffic doesn't seem like a reliable metric for prosperity, we can see here with Russia beating all the other EU countries with the exception of UK, and Brazil beating out Canada.

There are other factors as to why air passenger traffic is high in those select countries, like having a huge landmass requiring transport through air or being the only mode of transportation to reach a certain destination.

I have suggestion for another metric instead, how about the amount of smartphones, computers, cars or luxury brand bought? Maybe the percentage of sale in the global market for those products in each country for comparison?

Some metrics that should be relevant for India in her current development stage are:
1) Total electricity used
2) Electricity used for residential/manufacturing purposes
3) Cement
4) Steel
5) Imports of raw materials
6) Exports of industrial goods
7) Indian patents accepted in WIPO
8) Disposable income per capita
9) Access to fresh water
10) Urbanisation
11) Agricultural/Manufacturing/Services job ratio
12)Total labour participation rate
13) Mortality rate
14) How many freight/cargo ships enter/exit Indian ports
Etc.
