All this means is America has offered to sell India equipment relating to AI, semiconductors, telecommunications (all the latest buzzwords).

Nothing will come of it just like all the other "deals" India makes with other countries. Americans won't give Indians access to proprietary information and Indians will be too cheap and poor to buy anything.

Public deals like this are just photo ops for public (mainly Indian) consumption. Your average Indian will watch this on youtube and think wow, America is asking India for help with semiconductors and AI, India really is a superpower and Modi is a god.

So India will get fucked hard in like a 3~4 decades from now because they will be creating a Semi industry on western equipment or fabs. It's kind of sad to see Asian countries become brain power farms for the west to harvest.

The same can be said about our oligarchy elites and politician. These is how American perpetuated its hegemony, by accommodating and nurturing them. You make a pack with the devil, IF you are a subservient American citizen the law is there to protect you unless you are a Russian and Chinese oligarch then your wealth is at their mercy.
