There was a time when "Western" countries saw Chinese as the same as Africans so I wouldn't put too much on genetics. Just like the West thinks China can't domestically produce semiconductors, they admit that was wrong when now they've moved on to preventing China from domestic production by denying the tools to accomplish it. I read what white supremacists who live in their mother's basement teach one another and one is non-whites can be scientists but they wouldn't be there if whites didn't create the tools to allow it to happen. By that logic Europe would be stuck chucking spears at each other if it weren't for China opening their minds to a whole new world of weaponry. Every modern weapon has its roots going down to something the Chinese did first. A lot of modern weaponry has chemistry as an element. Remember chemistry was considered witchcraft at a time in Europe. By their own logic, they would've never thought it up on their own hence they owe everything to the Chinese who weren't afraid of chemistry hence how a whole new world of weaponry was exposed to them.
In the US there's a theory of when American college students turned away from the sciences and engineering and that's because of the movie Wall Street. When you're a scientist or engineer, you're usually working for someone else. That means whatever you accomplish someone else is going to take the credit. You always see college professors winning Nobel Prizes and it's usually the students who do all their leg work. Not a glamourous life when your world is in a lab or workshop. Wall Street made young people want to go into finance and business because you certainly will make more money than the average scientist or engineer and you can buy a lifestyle that everyone wants and envies.
The US wants to go back to when Americans valued science and engineering. Can they do that when the social status of those careers will remain the same? Is that why China in some ways has caught up and even surpassed the US and the West in technology? Why did Beijing beg to be a part of International Space Station when they could have done it completely on their own like they're doing now? It wasn't because they needed those countries to get into space. It's because Chinese value their associations as much as money. It's important to be a part of a big successful organization like the International Space Station to show people they've made it by being up their with the elites. It's like how some argue that China could have the best performing computer chip in the world but if the West doesn't use it, it's a failure. That's stupid Chinese thinking when the most important part of that is China has the best chip in the world. Even people like Kirk Campbell know that hence why all his anti-China strategies to Obama and Biden has been the "deny China into the club" to make China submit. The US has overdone it hence why now China is moving in another direction because they have no other choice from what the West wants but the West will continue to think this way because it perpetuates their own delusions of grandeur. See... even the people on top think stupidly but is that genetics or just brainwashing whether willingly or unwillingly? If you look at India or Japan or South Korea, they value their associations even more than China. China is luckily getting on the off ramp while they're on the part of the highway where there are no obvious off-ramps left going only where the West wants them to go.
You look at African and Latino Americans in the US and they've had their cultures historically ripped away from them and replaced by the Western values that they control. I've mentioned before that back in high school I was approached by a black student who went out of his way to tell me I belonged to an inferior race because Asians didn't have any professional athletes and musicians. And today in anti-Asian violence in the US you see blacks and Hispanics attacking Asians because COVID-19 was a green light to let out all their frustrations seeing Asians doing better than they are. That's because the West taught them their only avenue to success was through sports and entertainment something they ultimately control because minorities and the conquered are dependent on whites in power to like them in order to be successful.
So is it genetic or is it brainwashing? Now you know why it's so important for them to have the world embrace Western values because they ultimately control what is considered valuable hence they control you.

Considering that all countries that developed, including all countries in Asia, developed by growing their manufacturing segment, what this guy says is really like selling snake oil. No wonder India had a hard time to catch up with China - because they had such genius in charge.
