I don't see how that is relevant to the fact Beijing objects to Taiwanese spending because it wants to make a military take-over easier. That was the only point I had to make in relation to the comparison you made over South Korea and Taiwan. For some reason you're horribly upset by me stating what is blatantly obvious to anyone interested in military affairs.
Please support this statement with relevant statics. I find that very hard to believe not least since I've never seen a modern Western atlas with Taiwan as anything other than a seperate country. What's a polite way to suggest that you are talking out of your bottom? :coffee:And how you easily you forget that the US, Japan, and virtually everyone on the planet recognizes Taiwan as a part of China. It's not another nation.
South Korean cruise missiles are claimed to have a range of over 1000km, is there any evidence of a dedicated/capable anti-ship version that would threaten the Chinese carrier(s) from a distance outside their air-superiority envelope allowing cruise missile launch from big/slow platforms such as the ROK's P-3 Orions or C-130s?
South Korean indiginous anti-ship missiles are pretty good also.
