Although if things keep progressing the way they are in england, rioters might be in vogue again soon
they can take what they learnt from the CIA and Australian intelligence and apply it in London. Make sure you got plenty of fire wizards this time, and maybe a couple of medics (god, you can tell the CIA is full of nerds and geeks as well as theatre kids with their obsession over Les Miserables).

It seems like the UK tried to steal £3.25 billion from HSBC to pay their bankrupt Hong Kong BNOs. The Bank didn't even bother to show up.
It is just showboating by the UK government. The UK will take/steal anything they can, history shows this.

There is nothing they can do because these funds are in HK. If they try to seize funds located in China, that will be a very bad precedent for themselves.

The bank isn't going to show up for a nonsense hearing that has no legal bearing.

Hong Kongers may be over staying their welcome in the UK. Using riot techniques at recent protest against the new Chinese embassy.

Best not tell them the British government was busy with HK financial talks.

Chancellor of the Exchequer Rachel Reeves in the fourth quarter of 2024 deployed Treasury officials to hold talks with their counterparts in Hong Kong to explore improving economic relations, according to the people, who asked for anonymity discussing behind-the scenes negotiations.

The meetings took place against the backdrop of former media tycoon Jimmy Lai testifying for the first time in a landmark national security trial in Hong Kong in November, in which he denied allegations that he colluded with foreign governments against China. That same month, a Hong Kong court sentenced the legal scholar Benny Tai to 10 years in prison, the longest sentence ever meted out using a China-imposed security law. Former youth activist Joshua Wong got four years and eight months, with sentences handed down to 45 defendants.
