We'll wait and see. This is a developing story.

Meanwhile the most iconic pair from your link, this is what I think of when I hear "Chinese human rights activist":

Judging from the second photo, they are not buying the newest cameras or cellphones which are almost all made in China and instead are using an old Canon Powershot that they found in a dumpster or something. So they probably have some principles.

Man, this org is a registered charity, talk about money laundering. Don't pay taxes, but fly people all over the place for "speaking engagements". Honestly, why bother being a semiconductor engineer?

I am completely SHOCK!!! This must be fake news~! /s Benedict Rogers of the anti-china group "Hong Kong Watch" + "Human right activist" was found to be a racist that often discriminated against other Asians.

The way Asians think the more racist, the more white so therefore Asians suck up to them more thinking if they can get them to like them, the more accepted by white people they think they are or even makes Asians think the whiter they are. Look at how there were Asians among the Jan. 6th right-wing racist rioters at the US Capitol. I bet those Asians thought that made them white.

There's a term "white adjacent" given to Asians. I bet a lot of Asians would love to be labelled white adjacent but it's a term blacks in the US use so to make Asians responsible for the crimes of white people.

Epoch Times is popular among right wing whites in the US. Did they shut down printing just in Hong Kong or everywhere?

Just Hong Kong but I think the liberal government in the US is also politically motivated to investigate them as well. A few guys got caught for tax crimes
