IMO HK has a chance of 2-3 years to show that it is taking real action on improving the housing situation

If they dont, things will get very ugly, very soon.

If a gov stops serving its people then dont be surprised if people rise up against it

Jailed Hong Kong opposition activist Joshua Wong Chi-fung has pleaded guilty to taking part in an unauthorised June 4 vigil last year commemorating the 1989 Tiananmen Square crackdown.
Three district councillors – Lester Shum, Tiffany Yuen Ka-wai and Jannelle Rosalynne Leung – have also admitted knowingly taking part in an unauthorised assembly, an offence under the Public Order Ordinance that could land them in jail for five years.

No suspended sentence, community sentence, fine etc, sent them all straight to prison. Thanks

I guess as the court cases go thru the process, we will hopefully start seeing some stiff sentences and the judges less likely to fall for the "i was just going to buy some bobba tea next to a riot zone while dress like a rioter and hammer/paint in my backpack"
