Re: Your Favorite Foods...What you like to eat
But seriously, a real dish cannot have sugar, it is just weird. How can you have meat that is sweet.
It's a whatever works thing I guess. Meat has its own sweetness, but not like sugar. I can't imagine having tomato and eggs without a little sugar...... way too sour and salty IMO.
The first time I have ever heard of fried wonton was when I came to America. Before that I never knew it was possible to fry wonton.
You are in New Jersey, right? Wait until you find a ma-n-pa restaurant in the hills! You know what Egg FuYong is? And when in Vermont, beware of the local "chow mein"...... You WILL want to MISS it!!!!
The only things on the menu that are actually close to authentic are the broccoli beef, Mongolian beef, and Hot-N-Sour soup (except many of these places are Cantonese and the soup isn't Cantonese at all!)
I could never understand why people eat chicken feet, there is no meat on it! Every time I see it I get grossed out, but my mother loves it.
I am surprised you haven't had scurvy.
I like mine done the dim sum way, especially since I am on braces, but it's really about the sauce and the texture of the skin.
NEVER AGAIN will I have Burger King or McDonald's. The smell of that grease is gone.... the patty is tasteless. It's really little food for the money too.... I rather go to a local or Chinese restaurant...... The teriyaki Shogun burger is gone too....
Sausage-sushi.... lemme guess, the idea came from spam musubi?

Deep fried ice cream?! At first I thought you meant fried mochi...... but Western ice cream?! Yuck........ They should serve that at Burger King......
If you go to Brooklyn, they have the Chip Shop there, and they will fry about anything..... a waste of food IMO.
