Here's Why I think China's development is slower than South Korea.

What make you say that? Just because you have good solid state technology, you can make good cars?

South Korea's ability to built okay cars not because they have good solid state technology. I have emphasis before, and I will emphasis again... these two are different industry!

The only thing that I can think of is that South Korea had good electronic background, so they are using electronic system in their car to improve fuel efficiency, etc. And that is about all there is.

Finally... please stop throwing a few companies that are doing good globally and say that it represent the entire nation, first you stated Samsung, now Hyundai... maybe I should save you the trouble later on and throws in Kia too.

If you are going to think of it this way, then I think Japan is a much better example... they have Toyota, Honda, Mazda, Nissan, Lexus, Subarus, Sony, Panasonic, and whatever.

Finland had Nokia.

US had Apple Computer, IBM, Gateway, etc.

Heck... even Malaysia had Proton and stuff.

A country is not judge by the companies it had that is doing well. And for your information, most products (consumer electronic products) of the abovementioned companies are made in..... (you guess it!) - CHINA.

Yet korea only master the memory segment of semiconductor which is the lowest rung in term of profitability and advanced physics. US and Japan long ago give up on manufacturing memory because there is no profit in it
