6 bombs a pylon ??

4 maybe ?

Vey ugly but interesting quite sure free fall bombs of 500 lbs, 227 kg x 36 : 7, 5 t

H-6s in general have a weapons loads as Tu-16 of 9 t H-6K surely possible a little more we know 6 x KD-20 do 1.8 t so 10.8 t maybe up to 12 t ?
Remains far of US, Russians bombers 23 - 57 t.

6-pylons with 6 with 250kg bombs.

Arrangement is similar to the old JH-7 arrangement on the inner pylons:

That's a nice, significant payload.

By comparison, a B-52H can carry up to fifty-one 500 or 750 lb bombs in its bomb bay alone. That's the H model. Older models were able to actually carry more, but they are focusing the aircraft on being a cruise missile hauler now.

By comparison, a B-1B can still carry up to eighty-four 500 lb bombs.

Still, thirty-six 250 kg bombs coming your way is not something you would want to be anywhere near!

He have 3 weapons bays in fact the more big is divided in 2 for START treaty reason and 6 ext HP !
A weapon load max of 57 t : 34 int + 23 ext !!!

internaly 24 x 907 kg, 24 AGM-158
externaly 12 x 907 Kg
And up to 12 mines MK 65 of 1 t

Much more powerful than H-6 and all guiged weapons, no match.

Others B-52H : 32 t, B-2 23 t, Tu-160 40 t, Tu-95 15 t and Tu-22M 24 t of weapons max.

H6 is only a distant cousin of Tu-16 less for H-6K but not a Strategic/heavy bomber Tu-22M also but more big do 124 t max vs 79.

Very curiously Huitong say H-6K can be armed with only 4 KD-63 while he can have 6 more big KD-20 strange....

H-6K can carry bombs in the internal weapon bay, so more than 36X250kg if needed.

Yes obviously in fact sure a weapons load of 10.8 t, 6 KD-20 after ?
Right now we have only see free fall bombs even for these last variant and he would have make sense could be armed with LGB, or SGB.

So roughly we could say 1 B-1B has 2x H-6K weapon load and B-52H roughly 1.4x H-6K ... good perspective. I know the speed and range are very important too
