Why do you believe the new H-6N ALBM is called YJ-21?

To my knowledge, the YJ-21 name has only been attributed to the naval UVLS launched AShBM, which is far smaller than the ALBM on H-6N and an entirely different missile?

I feel like this is an important aspect to clarify as if this is a mis identification, it could cause us a lot of confusion and pain in the future if we don't know which missile is which.
Bltizo, this is going to annoy you!

I would be curious what H-6N range with this missile is. If with refueling, then can fly out to 2000 km away from Chinese air space and launch it, they could possibly target military bases up 4000 to 5000 km away from China. Not enough range to hit say the warships residing in Pearl Harbor but there are some interesting targets that open up.

They can also use it to target carrier groups in Western Pacific, but that would depend how well they can actually detect those things.

Such a missile could be successfully launched from locations a few hundred km to the west of Ryukyu islands and Japan. And possibly from a location somewhere at the line between Taiwan and Luzon islands. And from a few hundred km away west of Palawan and few hundred km north of Borneo island.

Even through the true designation is still unknown, YJ-21 is the closest thing so far I can get, like the air-launched YJ-12 vs ship launched YJ-12A. It appears, however, the major difference between the two variants is that the ship launched YJ-21 uses a shorter one-stage rocket booster while the air-launched YJ-21 uses a longer two-stage (?) rocket booster, suggesting their tactical objectives are somewhat different.
