This is a good image/video, but the image quality isn't ideal for us to discern the geometry of the re-entry vehicle.

I'm unsure if it's a standard MaRV type re-entry vehicle like on DF-21D, DF-26 etc, or if it is more of an HGV DF-17 type geometry.
I do feel like there may be an asymmetrical taper of the RV on the images, but hard to say definitively.

Air launched version of DF17? like the one US testing from b52?

Agree, the imagine quality is not great.

But from what I can see, the tip of this missile more looks like this shape than a conventional round warhead

Looks like a boost glide vehicle of some sort to me.
Likely a rocket based weapon with no air breathing component.
But probably has some maneuverability on that last stage.
Kind of reminds me of the DF-15B.
