The sentiment is, there has been a revise design like 003 for h-20/jh-xx so it's worth the wait.

Do we at all know if the H-20 is going to be a flying wing? I really hope its a low payload, slightly larger than a fighter, supersonic design. I'm not a fan of subsonic American style flying wings.

Uh, then it shouldn't be a flying wing. You can't really do a flying wing and make it super sonic. If you want a light, fast bomber, then it'll have to be more fighter jet shaped like the Su-34. The point of a flying wing is it has a high payload and easy to make stealth.

More like an LO Mig-31 without fins or vertical stabilizers, produced in higher volumes than larger flying wings.

no one knows. but this sort of design was looked at in the US starting with F-117 then the FB-22 concept. However the FB-22 tactical bomber was dropped in favor of a new strategic flying wing (B-21). As for why, it might not be because FB-22 conceptually was bad, just that it did not fit with US doctrine.

I am going to guess by 2030. 2030 is predicted to have many many new hardware including new submarine, new gen hypersonic missiles, drones, loyalman and stealth jets. It is definitely no later than 2035.

... That's why a Mig-31 is a Mig-31 and not a flying wing. If you want to go fast you need those stabilizers. And there's no reason to complicate everything trying to make a Mig-31 a flying wing.

V-tail then. Essentially something that wouldn't bottleneck the J-20 cruising speeds and can deliver payloads to Guam without the need to refuel.

I believe will be earlier than 2030. I think first flight could be in 2024, in service in 2027/28 and in 2030 is already in reasonably big number

Heh, I've seen some pictures like that in these posts. So yeah, I suppose that's possible.
