I've spent hours on this thread but either the questions have been too difficult or others have been too fast for me. This time I had a home field advantage and good timing.

I'll accept the country due to my ambiguous use of word nationality. Ottoman would have been literally correct. You are very close with the plane type, but it's not a C.XV, care to try again?

Getting closer but still not quite it. From the photo it may be impossible to tell the difference, but another guess or two and you'll get it.
