an ELINT ship was my first guess too, but i went through all the sites i know of and couldn't find a hull matching this. this is a tough one, bro.
maybe costas would have something to say. just hope he's not being mobilized cuz of the kosovo thing

OK, this is SSV-501 Zaporozhye Project 394B Electronic Intelligence gathering ship, so Golly is correct on at least the class name. The ship has Mad Hack planar array installed.

What type of radar is that Mad Hack? Does it relates to the Mars-passat??

Actually, I have no idea what Soviet designation relates to Mad House. I guess it's the same PAR which can be seen on Ural. It certainly has no relation to Mars-Passat
