We got a smaller tilt rotor here. Just 1.5t. Can carry 5 passengers or 500kg of payload to greater than 700 km range at 300 km/h.

Uses dual turboprop engine & electric motor/generator for hybrid propulsion.

Kind of looking forward to this. Utilizing electric generator to power propellers.

Okay I'm legitimately impressed by this.

If they can actually develop this thing on a reasonable schedule then this actually reflects somewhat strongly on the PRC rotorcraft industry, and a larger version of this would make a compelling future general utility rotorcraft for military purposes.

I think they had a few other projects on display too. Even if one of them succeed, it will be a big moment for China's aero industry here.

Since R6000 is pilotless, you don't really need it to be as large. 2000kg of internal payload is not bad.

Well, the reason R6000 is more notable than the others is how mature it looks.
Features like:
- fixed engine tiltrotor (like V280)
- folding rotors and wing assembly from outset
- two forward and one rear landing gear design (more sensible for utility rotorcraft role)
- sensible cabin/fuselage design

It is a design, which if they keep everything the same but scaled up to a 12-15t MTOW rotorcraft (engines being a limiting factor of course), would tick off every box you'd need for a military (including navy) compatible next gen tiltrotor
