Actually, what Bonnie Glaser should be attacked on is on her intellectual dishonesty. She tries to confuse lack of data with refusal to provide data. China under zero covid policy produced too little infected to mutate into new variants, and those that do mutate dies out quickly due to quarantine. A "distinguished" analyst and scholar should be able to differentiate that. Since she is not incompetent, then her motive must be suspect -- hence the charge of intellectual dishonesty.
I get the urge to defend PLANAF on reddit regarding this incident but this right here is why I can't really find an angle. All that complain about being dangerous and unprofessional just sound like loser talk.
PLA and JASDF get up to way more intense than this back in the days until their F-15J got schooled and gave up.
