She's an American and a politician. Both of these are things known for puffing themselves up with presentations and BS like a guy wearing a muscle suit under his shirt at work.

"I am proficient in 15 languages." - Translation: I can say hello in 15 languages.
"I have extensive experience in engineering." - Translation: I took shop class in high school.
"I have dedicated my career to becoming a China expert." - I troll Chinese forums on Google translate and took some pics with falun gong.

Discovered this in like 2 years of following some western think tank analyst. I really though they could speak and understand Chinese and stuff. But they never seemed to have published something in Chinese or do long form Chinese interview its always english. Hell even Kevin Rudd all i see him do is point is finger at the ceiling wiggle it and say 2~3 Chinese sentences it does make you wonder is he really such a China expert.
