Criticism is unwarranted because they conflate what the China Watchers wish to happen to what actually happens. Most of the analysis by China watchers are idiological instead of based in fact. It is similar to how a basement dwelling neckbeard wishes to score a chick the caliber of Scarlett Johansson, but in reality the best he could do is the sock puppet he used for his seventh grade history presentation.
