Actor Zelensky must have heard people criticizing the crappy work of his special effects team.

In this earlier video, the special effects flaws were immediately spotted by netizens.

On March 23, his embassy to UK released another video where Zelensky stood still in front of a similar backdrop. A soldier was added in it to give the viewers the illusion of depth. But this still looks like a "green screen" effect to some netizens.

A group of Russians didn't miss the chance. On March 24, they mocked Zelensky to make fun of his pretense.

], a girl pretended that she was a reporter in Mariupol recounting attacks from armed Ukrainians. Except that the backdrop behind her was Kiev, the same one as in Zelensky's video. Directed by a voice outside of the scene, she started changing the backdrop with a remote. The backdrop was changed to Zelensky's office, then the white house court yard, etc. finally Mariupol.

All of a suden the European Parliament means nothing to CBC when Justin "the trampling dictator" Trudeau is under attack by some members of the assembly.

The European Parliament, the second-largest elected assembly in the world, is not like any other parliament

When Prime Minister Justin Trudeau recently addressed the European Union Parliament and warned of growing threats to democracy, he received an angry backlash from some elected members who accused him of responding to the recent anti-vaccine mandate convoy protest like a dictator.

The public rebukes by a handful of far-right, populist and anti-vaccine members of the European Parliament claiming Trudeau violated civil rights in response to the protest that occupied Ottawa for almost a month went viral on social media.

The CBC hasn't been the same since Harper. These days, it's just a mouthpiece of whoever is in charge.

I was naive to think Trudeau would change anything. The measures Harper introduced to silence dissent and control the media were inherited by Trudeau, who has continued to make use of them. It seems that once you open this Pandora's Box, there's no going back.

It saddens me because I used to think I could build a future for myself and my kids here. I lived through the turmoil of immigrating at a young age with my parents and moving frequently. I wanted to give my children a stable childhood, where they can grow up with people they've known all their life.

I still want to do that, but I no longer believe my children will have a future here once they grow up. I only hope there's still time for them to grow up before it all comes crashing down.
