I am considering migrating SDF to IPBoard(invisionPower), looking for some member feedback and thoughts/experiences?

I've used vbulletin since 2003 on DefenceTalk and then on SDF and few other sites that I own, it was a GOOD software but 4.x turned out to be a nightmare and 5.x doesn't look so good or promising and it is very expensive to upgrade.

Webby, I haven't been able to get any thread updates since early nov on my email, I have attempted to make sure that all my settings allow updates, but I must be missing something? So we should have better service with IPBoard?
