I wonder how many doomers posting/lurking here who had short positions are feeling the pain.

But then again maybe that's not important. I wonder what sort of pain guys like Muddy Waters and other big short sellers are feeling.
We know at least one doomer who was shorting Chinese stocks in the Chinese Economy Thread. Dude keeps posting his thesis aggressively as if somehow convincing us will make him more money or something.

Was he actually shorting or just claiming? I just remember reading about that PE/VC argument which turns out to be pointless since FT didn't even honestly report the data?

But in the end its the results that matter. If the market continues to rise and he gets margin call'd then thats not our problem. Just shows you can write up all this stuff but if you're ultimately wrong, it just means we all wasted a lot of time here. Unfortunately we can not get a margin call on time and have it repaid.

Does anybody know how to buy odd lot HK/SZ shares on IBKR?

I thought IBKR supports odd lots, but I keep getting this error saying it needs to be in multiples of 100, am I missing something?

Does robinhood support this function?

I've bought some HK shares with IBKR (european account) but only in lots and it's not always multiple of 100. Some ticker even sells by 1000/2000/5000.

I guess you simply can't? As the transaction fees would be too low to be calculated for the broker.

Next few weeks will be so stupidly bullish, YINN/KSTR Calls options. The Rallye will be bigger than everything that came before in the Mainland.

Take this pic with a grain of salt. I heard before that S&P500 returned 5500% on paper in which about 5000% was due to inflation. I cannot verify either. Yet it verifies from another angle my perception that inflation is the only feasible way out of the fiat money deluge since Greenspan.

Interesting that inflation adjusted S&P 500 return was basically zero from 1967 to the early 1990s, which was when the US was locked in the Cold War against the Soviet Union, and then it grew by 600% in the years after the Soviet Union collapsed. The unipolar world with US as the sole hegemon has been very good for American capitalists.

Uh... why are Chinese stocks having a massive crash in overnight trading
Announcement of the Officals on stimuli is not as comprhensive as hoped for and mostly people wanting to realise already made gains, we must not forget some stocks made +80% in 3 weeks.

I'd sell my stuff in a moment and buy YANG or leveraged puts on YINN.

I'd advise not to expect good numbers in the next 2-3 days.
