Europe Refugee Crisis

This has went rival on the web for quite a few days and I came across this article of MSN.
Hungarian camerawoman faces criminal charges for kicking refugees
Hungarian prosecutors said Thursday they had opened a criminal investigation for breach of peace against a camerawoman caught on film as she tripped and kicked migrants who were fleeing border police.

In the footage, which sparked global outrage, Petra Laszlo can be seen tripping up a man sprinting with a child in his arms, and kicking another running child near the town of Roszke, close to the border with Serbia.

It later emerged that Laszlo, who was fired over her actions, had been working for N1TV, an Internet-based television station close to Hungary's far-right Jobbik party.

Two small opposition parties filed a criminal complaint against Laszlo shortly after the video began circulating on social media Tuesday.

"In the course of the investigation, the authorities will also examine if more serious crimes... can be established," said Sandor Toro, the deputy chief prosecutor of Csongrad county.

A "Wall of Shame" page on Facebook featuring pictures, videos and commentaries linked to the incident involving Laszlo had gathered more than 30,000 likes by Thursday.

"You are a disgrace to your profession," one user wrote.

The incident occurred as hundreds of migrants broke through a police line at a collection point close to the Serbian border where thousands have been crossing each day for the past month.

"These are shocking images. You're part of a news agency. With your hand you're shooting and with your leg you're hurting someone else," said Aniko Bakonyi of human rights group Hungarian Helsinki Committee.

The video showed Laszlo was "only kicking foreigners, no-one else, including a child who was clearly an asylum-seeker", Bakonyi added.

"Since she's been working as a cameraperson there, she clearly knew who she was kicking. It wasn't by accident, there is no mistake in that."

Laszlo herself has not yet reacted publicly to the storm.

Despite the tragic nature of these refugees, there is one critical concern that any nation would be foolish to ignore, and that is the possible, nay, likely, presence of radicalists among the refugees.

It would be impossible for anyone to say that accepting this amount of refugees from areas of radical islamic activity would not provide European radical islamism with thousands of fresh new recruits.
Agree.
And please be wary that "democratic/liberal muslim/islamism" described by western nation can suddenly change/convert to " radical muslim/islamism " in a very short time.

This opinion piece suggests that China should be helping with the refugee crisis:

And I soooooo wanted to post early on, "When are they going to blame China for this?"

Remember when Colin Powell said, "You broke it, you fix it?" Again like I posted earlier, the lack of conscience... After all the blame we can place on Obama for his Syria policy, remember it was the EU that was pushing the US to act. And somehow China has responsibility?

Brag about how people would rather live in Western countries than China...

Well regardless of whose fault it is, there are discussions in countries not directly involved in this to accept refugees. I know that Canada is having this discussion. China has a larger economy. So there is no reason why it can't accept some refugees if it wanted to.

Note, I'm not saying that China, Canada, US or any of the Western European countries should, because I think this is something that the neighbouring countries should be mostly helping out with. But as China gets larger and large economy and wants to play a bigger role, these are the kind of issues it will be dealing with.

Except that Canada has a 45k gdp per capita, while China has only 13k. The total size of the economy is not the issue here.

Well then they should say pretty please with sugar on top of it since they seem to be employing the shaming and intimidation tactics as usual to get people do what they want. They might get better results.

Did anyone of them even care to help out China with their migrant refugee problem (although small but still the same principal) when the rebels from Myanmar started crossing the border into China? No...I thought so. I rest my case.

I have a different point of view. I see plenty of able-bodied men and women among these refugees. And many of them likely paid hefty sums for their journey as well. Why aren't these people taking up the fight for or against one side or another and making a stand for their homes and the future of their own land? They are not even looking to travel to the safe havens closest to home but rather the wealthiest parts of the world they can get to. These are cowardly, greedy, and self-centered people whose actions betray their true nature, and I will give them some benefit of the doubt that they may at the same time be pawns to others' manipulation, but there is an overblown cover story of victimhood for the wrong reasons.

Looks like my city will be taking in about 10k Syrian refugees. We took in many thousands of Bosnians as well in the 90s. The mayor just announce yesterday. We have the largest concentration of Bosnians in the world outside of Bosnia. Good people for the most part.. I've met many dozens even in the past few years.
