I would just like to say two things. The moderators, Denio and Blitzo, they are good guys, integrity is them and they will be fair. So nothing wrong to participate, as long as no one goes overboard. Heh.
Secondly, it is the narrative, that you sir always rail against, and for good reason.
The narrative in western media is always of prediction that the west will contain China.
The narrative is never what the west will actually do to contain China.
This is insidious propaganda in my view, and total bunk.
It was like mother, when she would threaten me and my siblings if we did not behave when at a friend's house. Is mother going to take us home early, is mother going to beat us, is mother going to make us liver and onion for dinner something we don't like? That essentially the western narrative of what they are about to do, all their options will be considered when they get serious about containing China.
They are just full of it. Anyone who repeats and rebroadcast that is just full of it.
What is real here, is what will the west actually do. I do not think it goes beyond the 5 options of 1. trade war, 2. tech war, 3. propaganda, 4. arms sales to rivals, 5. a first strike.
But the media never talks actually about that, what are the chances of these failed policies succeeding.
All they want to talk about is how to keep China down (without actually having to really talk about it).
The narrative is more important than reality to these people in the media. They should be bashed everything single time for intellectual honesty.

Had trump not launched the trade war which quickly morphed into cold war against China, Xi Jinping might put more effort in containing covid within China instead of letting Chinese citizen to travel around the world, who knows
What is clear however is that the pandemic exposed the us and much of western countries weaknesses that their version of liberal democracy is powerless in stopping a virus that only has 1 or 2% mortality rate
I would expect that China will invest more in research of viral genetic manipulation
What the hell are you talking about? Very little is known about the virus at the beginning. Are you suggesting China purposely spread the virus?
