I agree that Tesla's valuation is ridiculous. Even if you go by future possible production and sales it doesn't make any sense anymore.

So vast majority of Tesla profits is selling 'regulatory credits' to others, and Tesla stock prices is artificially inflated due to US government printing press, allowing it to raise tons of capital to survive. Not to mention massive tax subsidies at local state level. It's basically state-sponsorship, American-style...lots of govt subsidies, and they complain when China does it.

As predicted, the deep state will run the show with China Joe as a mannequin.

Well that told him! It's not going to be business as usual. The Americans really shouldn't be pushing people around.

Yang Jiechi, the top foreign policy aide to Chinese leader Xi Jinping, told Blinken during their Friday call that the US should "correct recent mistakes, and work with China to promote the healthy and stable development of China-US relations by upholding the spirit of non-conflict, non-confrontation, mutual respect and win-win cooperation," according to a statement released by the Chinese Foreign Ministry.
Yang emphasized that both sides should respect the other's core interests, as well as political systems and developmental paths of their own choosing, the statement said.
"Each side should focus on taking care of its own domestic affairs. China will firmly continue down the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics and no one can stop the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation," Yang said.

China extends olive branch, but clearly peace is not on US agenda.

Because Americans are not of one mind and have different opinions, it's just like Chinese communism...? I thought if everyone didn't think for themselves that was being a communist automaton. Now it's un-American to think differently. This is the kind of bull they'll think up. What's been bragged about Americans where they think they have the right to force what they onto others is spun to be Chinese communism. And I come across Americans who get upset that Chinese consider them barbarians.

I saw something that came out of FOX News where they were spinning COVID relief plans that Democrats are pushing for as bailing out China. How did they come up with this farce? All these plans require large amounts of money that the US doesn't have so they will have get that money through bonds and treasuries that China will buy and gain money from interest to help out China's floundering economy. The reason they say countries buy US bonds and treasuries is because they have a lot of extra money in contrast to a country that has to issue bonds and treasuries because they're spending more money than they have. Republicans always want to spend even more money on the military and give tax breaks to the rich. Where are they going to get that money?

Lets be real. America is the Chinese civilization's greatest enemy, either on par or even exceeding the threat of the Mongols in the 13th century (who we must point out were completely sinicized by the end of thier occupation). It does not matter whether or not China one day adopts "american-style" democracy/republicanism or recommits to its existing model of state-led capitalism. America will tolerate nothing less than the subjugation of the chinese polity. Whether the current conflict endures to our children, or our children's children... China and its people must take a whole "civilizational" approach to confront America in all spheres, to maintain an independent civilization.

That makes him the prime target for next rounds of Chinese sanctions, the guy still relatively young he must aspire for top jobs in blue chip company when he leaves office
China should ensure that life of poverty for him and his family is what awaits him after he leaves office

Neither is war.

Most things die with a whimper, and not bang.

American preeminence is fading.

What is the most astounding point, is that the Americans do not realize that most empires collapsed from within throughout history.

And here they are, Americans killing each other on the streets, distrustful of their fellow Americans and government, disunited on almost everything. Then we have the Americans running the printing presses as the primary tool to reclaim prosperity and empire.
