Any updates on "Liaoning" ...We don't know.
We are in new and uncharted waters here, given this is a rather new ship type and different to the previous two carriers so there's no trend to extrapolate from.
My advice is to don't even think we can predict it.
They can pair it with one of the other two for landing/launching tests after the first sea trials. They can do touch and go, testing apprauch and other stuff way easier like that. It will take a while for full landing/launching. So many new things to learn on that ship, who knows how long it will take but probably less than the USS Gerald R.
