Most slogans were mounted facing sky. Except few crane operators, workers even could not see them when they were working. Obviously they were just for CCTV aerial footage shooting.Those 'slogans' are writing in Chinese and for Chinese workers' eyes, to promote work ethics and their duties; nothing more, nothing less.

Nice, having a smaller island is a big reason of how they will be able to operate more aircraft on CV-18 than CV-17 and also with CV-17 than CV-16. Just look at how much real estate is saved on Fujian compared to Adm K.Top view size comparison of islands on Chinese aircraft carriers.

Also, sponsons are off. KJ-600 with winglets and what seems to imply a fixed radome with 3 AESA panels for 360° coverage. Overall shape is off as well.Found this CG in an old thread on another forum. I have it dated 5 February 2014. Bar one too many cat and elevator looks quite close to actual CV18.
