Not safe and not because of the modules.

The modules sitting in the shed look interesting. Similar width and height as 003, with multiple decks. Would it be safe to assume another AC is coming down the pike? Can't think of a civilian/commercial ship with that similar structure having ever been built in that yard.

Fabrications of components and sub-assemblies have probably already started for 003 sister ship.

Logically it makes sense if PLAN goes for a 2nd 003 class than wait for CVN. In fact, I've longed been thinking they might logically go for a third 003 class; one at Dalian and the other at Jiangnan simultaneously to acquire and retain skills needed for 004.

The 052C class does not have a VLS in that position.

Looking at other shots of the 052C from the rear, it looks like that’s just a temporary structure they erected.
