I doubt it. If the air officers on the Chinese carrier has responsibility for aircraft in the air near the carrier, then he will need a view of the final approach path to the angled landing deck. From that location, the view of the approach is blocked by the island.

Don't you think China, with the experiences of the first two CVs, has not worked out all these potential problems?
Isnt he talking about a render done by an amateur? Seems like a fair criticism because the artist may not know hoe things suppose to work and the discussion has been enlightening.
