I concur with the locations indicated for the catapults, bridge and elevators. However, It seems to me that the cavity for the elevator in the foreground of the picture is very big. Does he size of the cavity indicates that the elevators on the 003 are much larger than those seen on the Liaoning and Shandong?

I believe the "weapons elevators" are really just funnel uptakes for the smokestack and I expect the island to overlay it (i.e. be more aft than what you depict).
Otherwise, yes, it's approximately what I envision
It's not impossible for it to be launched before the end of this year, but at this stage it is safer to estimate it at Q1 next year some time.
That said, key thing to look for in the next few months is when they install the island, and when the flight deck is structurally complete.
The pace of work of 003 from mid last year when it began assembly in the drydock, to now, has been slightly faster than one may have predicted.
probably air conditioning ducts. it would not be pleasant, and inefficient, to work inside the incomplete hull in the middle of summer without it.
It would be lethal after some time.
That's what I figured. The big mess of them just gives me anxiety, makes me think the deck's covered in a bunch of loose lines.
