Only the America had gas turbine, the Ford , Kennedy, Shandong has steam turbine , 003 unknown.

Actually, i think that there are. Im starting to wonder if the gap in the bow in photo prior to that is just a shadow from a crane. Im not seeing it in this latest photo. In this latest photo, you can see that the gap there is the shadow of a crane.

In fact, im not seeing any gap in the hull now. But i could be wrong, the photos are just too blurry to conclude that.

Seems as if indeed the gap is closed?

Indeed it is. Look at the continuous unbroken shadow casted from the hull

Does the Chinese social media have a bot that would automatically search for and blur pictures that are posted and may have national security consequence? Or it can the free version of the satellite imaging app might be blurred, and you need to pay for the high res image.

A Chinese guy from the PK defense forum that seems to be quite well-regarded (name ChineseTiger1986) has made claims that this carrier will be launched Q2-2021 (June 2021), will be 330 meters in length, and will displace 108,000 metric tons (compared to 102,000 metric tons for the Ford-class, also his numbers), and he is certain it will be nuclear-powered, and equally certain it will be a military variant of the ACP100.

Are they saying these are the statistics of 003 or 004? No way 003 is going to be 100000 tons, it mght be similar length to Ford but is much slimmer

For sure, though I saw some well regarded members of this forum over there taking his opinions seriously so I was curious.

From the little I know, every single one of those things would be very surprising (with perhaps the exception being the length).

How are you sure it will be slimmer? Not that I know.

They are referring to the 003, look at the est launch date.
