Heh, i dont think theres much of a tease. We had a photo just a week ago. Even blurred, the construction is aproximatly the same. You cant build a carrier in a month. More patience is needed. :)
You're right. PLA watching is all about patience.
I just need to find something else to keep me occupied then.

Somewhat unrelated. The 'old' fabrication/staging area. I wonder what they are making now.

Hard to say. It would depend on the ultimate size. But Jiangnan has a number of orders of LPG carriers or VLGCs (Very Large Gas Carriers). I suspect that is probably the bottom of one.

"The VLGCs, designed by Jiangnan Shipyard, will be in 230 metres length, 36.6 metres width and 22.2 metres depth, and equipped with LPG dual-fuel engines."

We have seen some of these ships in overhead pictures of the shipyard. Six were delivered this year already, about seven are under construction.

These ships are double hulled so they can contain a leak. The bottom hull is thick and double walled, not just for protection and leak containment, but things like pipes and wiring of the ship runs through them.
