After cutting of steel for 003 in 2015, there was a delay of 1 to 2 years due to changes on the original blue print (choice of steam or EMALS) as per Huahua's postings in CJDBY several years ago (2016-2017?). So 2H 2021 or 1H 2022 would be realistic.

Huahua was obviously a member of the design team, he voiced out he and his teammates' grievances on re-drawing of blue prints and non-stop over-times. He has not been posting much since then.

If this guy is a member of design team , he release the status of 003 will let him in prison for more than 10 years.

What a plain stupid post: the 003 is a vastly different carrier to 002, you cannot compare both from cutting first metal to launch esp if it today is in a state of construction 002 had about 18 months before launch.

So please explain how they should manage to finish a work on a larger and more complex vessel in 6 months for what they needed three times the time on a smaller and less complex one?

And please don't say its a matter of will!

... nothing is logical on your post.

003 wspend about half a year waiting electromagnetic ejection, but it still expects to launch in October this year.

003 will be launched at the end of this year at the latest

Because the international situation is already very bad

Not enough time for PLA.

Ok, lets keep it simple: Since You either don't want or cannot expalin or answer a simple question - namely how they will archieve to get something done in 6 months, that took 18 months on a less complex and smaller vessel ? - and still continue with such BS, then take this as a warning!

What's your source for such posts?

Either explain and argue instaed of boasting stupid propaganda or leave!

I don't see it being launched that early.

Much seems to depend on the internal priority of the navy. I assume they fast track ships they have ready crew for and feel like they want ASAP and leave other ships on the back burner.

But even if they give highest priority to the CV similar to how they prioritised the 075s, were still talking maybe 12 months or so to complete such a large ship.

And I don't even think they priortize it that much because the carrier stealth fighters are not finished yet.
