This is the Ford after 18 month of knee laying:Dear @Anlsvrthng , I hope you don't get me or my question wrong and especially since I appreciate Your efforts within this topic, I have a problem: Maybe I missed Your reply to my question a few days ago or your general thinking behind your analysis, what what is Your belief? Therefore I would be glad if You would answer the following two questions:
1. Why should the build a box-like module, place it at the yard and fabricate another boxy module, that fits within the larger one?
2. Do You try to prove that this is NOT a carrier? ... and what else should it then be?
Sorry, if You already answered these two, but I would be glad for a clear answer.
Best,
Deino

I think the best that we can say is the modules that we see can be the components of the carrier.
I think that we see now is a test of the components/ manufacturing process.
It is not really construction process, that could start at a later time.
Or ask the question, if the Newport News pic showing the construction of a carrier, then what they making on that small island in China?
18 month passed since the knee laying of the ship in Jiangnan .
At this construction stage the Newport News already built into the Ford 2000-3000 million worth of equipment.
Now, at this construction stage we can see 20-30 million worth of steel structure in Jiangnan.
There is no sign of boilers, turbines, piping, pumps and so on, anything that cost money.
The PLN can scrap the whole steel structure, and start it from the scratch without spending any real money.
